Video Review: Frank Ocean - Lost

Directed by: Francisco Soriano
I'm so excited and pleased to finally see visuals from Frank’s latest single, Lost. The video is basically footage shot of Frank and his crew travelling the world, sightseeing and performing. I just love the collection of raw footage and I enjoyed the vintage feel it gave me with the filter used on the film. It’s unique, interesting and it kept my attention.
I may sound bias because I’m a huge Ocean fan… OK well I Am, but I would definitely give this a video a 10/10. There no need to go all out and introduce flashing lights, half half models, fast cars and iced out jewellery to make an effect or impact. Like society says you should, because you know what they say "Go big or go home". They're basically saying 'if you don't spent at least 5 million on a video, you might as well give up because no one likes plain videos'... Lies. Just complete lies! I like it when it’s K.I.S.S: Keep It Simple Stupid! As I said before, an impact is best expressed through simplicity.
