About Me

Hi there! My name?... It's not that important, but most people call me "B" and so can you. I'm Ghanaian, but I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. So I would call myself an African-Australian. I'm 21, gosh half way to 40! haha. I'm interested in a lot of things, I love love love music, it's everything to me. I love fashion and surfing blog sites. I'm crazy about basketball, more specifically NBA "Go OKC!!!". In the past 2 years I've had a sudden love and interest in poetry and spoken word, I've following some amazing African-American poets and they've inspired me to start writing my own poetry and spoken word picecs.

After I left high school I was confused about what I wannted to do with myself. So I studied hospitality at TAFE for 3 years and started working in the industry as a chef, but after awhile I realised this industry wasn't for me. I had lost my passion for it and I was no longer happy, and everyone around me notice. I had to really sit myself down and think about what I wanted to do now. I started off by asking  myself "What do I love?". After that it was clear... Music and the entertaiment industry is what I love. The only thing I would every do when I have free time is listen to music and surf the internet for more music and  anything that had to do with entertainment. But than I thought, "wait... I can't sing, perform or write beautiful music like Adele". So I did some research and found out there's more to music than just performing. So here I'am at TAFE studying Media and Communication, and I hope this takes me on the path of success in the music industry.

So in this blog I'll be talking about.... Music! of course and how it relate to the media and how media influnces music. I hope all you music lovers out there enjoy this blog and feel free to give me feedback.
